Asia Palast in Gronau

Very small restaurant in the middle of Gronau. The interior says nothing about the food that is being prepared. Delicious crispy duck with fried noodles and a delicious black bean sauce. All this for a very affordable price. Friendly service and everything is prepared fresh.

The restaurant is remarkably quiet and located in the middle of the city. The food is greasy and tasteless. The staff has no cooking and very little hospitality. Imagine being interrupted by staff every few seconds because your child is restless. Nothing was damaged. Nobody gets bothered because there are no other customers stupid enough to sit in the restaurant. Nevertheless, I have to endure excessive gestures and complaints, the staff grumpy and with much overreaction, the fingerprints of my children from the glass door wipe, so that the guests do not feel welcome. When I commented on their customer-unfriendly impatience, I got a tasteless dessert with value judgments about my parenting! Children are emotional and can not control themselves, but as a paying customer I do not expect such childish, impatient behavior from adult hosts. This behavior far exceeded the impatience and intolerance of the average German for children. Shameful and despicable.

We used to like to go there, but then the quality has decreased a lot in terms of taste and quality! The staff also became more and more unfriendly. Have ordered 2 dishes and 2 soups. I don't know what's so difficult about it, but no soup was included. Apart from that it was a miracle that the driver found our address because it was a pain to tell him on the phone where we live !! Never again.

Outrageous staff. You talk nicely and only get outrageous answers. Not a nice atmosphere and ambience. Cheap and badly done.
